Books For 2011 #3
Friday, May 20, 2011
Hello!
I thought this picture was pretty :)
Tomorrow I am going to ride dirt bikes all day! I'm really excited. But I would ask you all to pray that me and my friends will stay safe.
As far as the promised video goes, I haven't been able to finish filming because my camera isn't working very well. I need to get a new one, but I can't really afford it. So I guess I will either just do my Throughout the Years Blog through type or just wait till I do get a new camera. I just thought I'd say hi to everyone on this beautiful Friday evening and I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Update
My, my, my...what a dreery day! This morning I woke up and I just felt absolutely terrible! My stomach was cramping and I felt really dehydrated. Then when I tried to drink, it just about came right back up. So much for that. But then the pain got worse and I took some bentyl, which relaxed my stomach muscles. Even now, three hours later, I still feel like my whole lower body is about to fall off, lol. But anyways, I really felt like writing a blog, but I wasn't sure what do write about. I guess I'll start with my favorite sport: volleyball. Sad, sad, sad news.....I won't be playing this year. My parents said that I can't play this year because they are too busy to drive me around. I seriously have not been able to get over it. I acted all cool and stuff when they told me, but inside I felt like there were shreds of glass running through my heart. Volleyball has been one of my first priorities in my life, and I never wanted to give it up. I'm extra discouraged because I'm going through my last years of even being able to play any sport on a team. I wanted to see my old friends. That was also my way of staying fit for this summer. But it just isn't happening :( I wish I was old enough to drive or I had a friend who was free to drive me. I guess now I'm going to have to find some creative ways to keep fit for this year. I've already actually gotten a couple of ideas. I'm going to make it a habit to go out and ride my bike around town for a while a couple times a week. I also am going to try to run around the block a lot. But to me, that is just sooooooooo boring! I cannot just run around without being occupied with something else. I think I am going to buy one of those straps that you wrap around your arm with your iPod in.
I'm also very interested in making money this year. But, sadly, I currently don't have any babysititing jobs right now, and I obviously have made it clear that I can't drive. So I talked my parents into paying me if I read some big, classic novels. My mom always used to give us little prizes whenever we would read a whole chapter book. And my parents have always encouraged us to read a lot because they beleive that reading is the way to achademic success. But I don't enjoy reading long, hard, classic books, but my mom wants me to get a nice transcript, so in order to make money, I need to read, read, read, read, reeeeaaddd. Yeah, you get the idea. But I'm hoping to be able to read books like Pilgrims Progress and Pride and Predjudice and Sence and Senceability. I know they're all hard reads, but if I make twenty bucks a book, I believe it's worthit. It will also help me to spend my money wiser, knowing I really saved up for it and worked for it.
So that's all I have to say for now, ttyl!

A Time For Everything
A Time For Everything - Hannah Buis
Everything I do
Should be for the One
Everything I turn to
The only begotten Son
All of my trust, hopes, and dreams
Everything in You
Cuz you've laid out a plan for me
It's too good to be true
For you say there is a time for weeping
When I'm feeling sad
Laying in bed, but not sleeping
And there's a time to be mad
There's a time to laugh
And feel happy inside
A time to do something new
And not be afraid to try
A time to dance
And sing His song
To express your emotions
To feel like you belong
There's a time to make love
But another to abstain
A time to rejoice in things above
A time to walk in the rain
A time to embrace the joys of life
Hug someone you love
But there's also a time to part to strife
Yet satisfied you have enough
A time to get those things reached for for so long
Casting aside fear, struggle, or worry
Knowing you can't go wrong
And trying not to be in a hurry
But there's also a time to lose
After giving all you have
So someone else might know the truth
Not knowing what you once had
There's a time to keep things
Which you hold dear
That include sundry things
But knowing your true home is near
A time to love and a time to hate
A time of war and a time of peace
A time to find that special mate
A time your dad hands over the keys
As you can see
There's a time for everything
So don't concentrate on "me"
Construct your time wisely

What Do You Trust?
"Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them."
So, where is the light? What is this kind of light? Where does this light come from? Well, Jesus gives the answer in this verse:
"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
So, what does it mean to live in the light? Well, to walk in the light means you can see clearly and have clarity of mind. Jesus gives you both. The light is no darkness. If we believe in a higher power anthing we trust or have faith in to be shown the way to live in the light we see every thing life becomes an easy road, darkness can cause us to stumble and fall. See clearly here is the light!
We all need to walk in the light of Gods love. Put all your practice in the highest principles of God. Jesus is calling each one of us to walk in His light. Understand that your either walking in the light, or your walking in the pure darkness, (aka, the road to Hell.)
We all need to walk in the light of Gods love. Put all your practice in the highest principles of God. Jesus is calling each one of us to walk in His light. Understand that your either walking in the light, or your walking in the pure darkness, (aka, the road to Hell.)
Feelings change. Emotions change. Hearts change. But what never changes? God's love for you. With that love comes an ability to put all of your faith and trust in God. The Bible says that we need to have childlike trust in God. In other words, if you think about how a child trusts in an adult, that's the same trust we need to have in our Father, the Controller of this world. But why is that so hard for so many people? Because too many are too caught up with the things and people of the world, that they don't feel like they can have any time for somebody that they can't even see. But the Bible makes it very clear that it's so important to put ALL of your trust in Him, and he will give you life.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. (Psalms 46:1-3 KJV)
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. (Psalms 84:11-12 KJV)
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. (Psalms 37:3-5 KJV)
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. (Proverbs 3:5-7 KJV)
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 Peter 5:6-8 KJV)
I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. (Psalms 40:1-4 KJV)
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:24-33 KJV)
So who/what do you trust?

"In's" For April-May
Hey Everyone!
Whew! These past couple of months have been extremely turbulent, yet wonderful in all areas. I hope you all don't forget to check out my new beauty blog: http://hannahbuis0007.blogspot.com/.
Well! First I think I'll go ahead and get into the "In's" for April and also this month so far.
My new bed. I just got it. Well, although it's not necessarily "new," it's still in good condition and it came from my cousin. It's a huge full sized bed. I think it's super comfy! I also got some new hot pink sheets. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't plan on having hot pink sheets. I would have preferred baby pink or even white. But these new sheets are sooo soft! They feel so amazing! Well I love sleeping in my bed now. I didn't used to like sleeping on my twin bed, partly because it hurt my back, and partly because I felt kind of insecure on a small bed, downstairs all by myself. I know that sounds kind of childish and crazy, but I'm still growing up. We all have our insecurities! But today I washed my sheets and blankets and pillowcases and even my comforter. So I can't wait to go flying into my bed and close my eyes, embracing the warmness and the smell of that wonderful fabric softener! :)
Taylor Swift. You guys are legit going to laugh at me! Your probably rolling your eyes at the computer screen. But seriously, how can I not have Taylor in my In's and Out's blog? But really, I've found some really great songs by her that aren't even released or are just on the platinum edition. They are: Beautiful Eyes, If This Was a Movie, I'd Lie, Lucky You, Jump Then Fall, American Girl, I Heart Question Mark, Superstar, Breathless, What to Wear, Untouchable, and Your Face. Now some may be wondering "where in the world do I get these without breaking the law?" Well, I say, "It's NOT okay to break any law." So that's why I'm gonna tell you that you can hear these songs without buying them. You can hear them at this website: http://www.playlist.com/. Just make an account then just add whatever songs and listen for free. Mind you, I haven't looked anywhere else where you can listen or even buy them, but all I know is you can hear them there! That being said, I know it's wrong to obsess over a person, and I'm not necessarily "obsessing" over her. She's a great singer and an amazing song writer. And her music truly inspires me. The sad part about it is she's coming to Indy in a few weeks, and when I went to look at the ticket price, yes, they are SOLD OUT!?!?!?!? E-X-C-U-S-E ME? Well, it took me about a few days to get over, but I found out that there is one coming to Kentucky and I haven't even looked to see if that is sold out, but it probably is. Oh well, maybe I can save up some money and fly out to L.A. and see her out there. But anyway, I love her music, and I'm excited about her next CD's coming out. I know I'll be there on the day it comes out, at the store next time one comes out!
Flowers. I know spring time is pretty much gone, but I'm just now realizing how beautiful flowers really are. I don't even have one favorite flower; they're all so pretty! It just shows what an amazing hand that God has to make something that beautiful for us to enjoy here on earth. That is why he created them, isn't it? But anyway, they are all over my house right now, and at some point I'm gonna go get a bunch of them for my bedroom. Here is a picture I found that has the most amazing flowers I have ever seen:
My hair. The other day I had somebody come up to me and tell how long and pretty my hair is getting. That's when I really did realize how long it is! It nearly goes down mid-back. That's the longest that any of the girls in my family has had it! Well, it may sound vain, but I'm glad to finally have some long hair that I really enjoy. I seem to always find myself cutting it or doing something different with it to style it, but this year I finally decided to just let it grow, without layering, or coloring, or doing anything, and now, it feels great to have light, long, and beautiful hair that I can really enjoy! (Read my beauty blog for more tips on growing hair out)
White dresses. Although I don't have one, I WANT one! I think every girl should have a pretty, simple white sun dress. I'm just trying to find one that goes along with my mom's "flesh inspection," if you know what I mean :/ But if you find one then be sure to let me know! Here's one that I really like...if only it was a little longer!:
Iced coffee. I was never even allowed to drink coffee until a year ago. I guess that it would affect my growing hormones negatively. But now, I can't stop drinking iced coffee! I don't really care for hot coffee though, which most people seem to think is odd. I really like mocha fraps or french vanilla with chocolate or caramel.
Well, that's mostly all my "in's" for these two months so far. If you ever have any questions about anything, be sure to email me at buishannah@yahoo.com or even tweet me at purenrgprincess. I love reading the couple of messages that I do get and I'm so happy when I see a comment on my blog. Never be afraid to ask me anything or talk to me about anything! Love you all,
Hannah
PS: Just a clarification, I understand that it may have confused some of you when I said I was putting up a beauty blog. That doesn't mean that I won't be posting on this one! I probably will only update the other one a few times a week. Everybody have a wonderful week! :)
