YOU Can Help Change the World

Most of you heard about what happened to Japan. When I heard about it, I felt so broken inside for these people! There are so many floods and earthquakes and hurricanes that keep happening all over the world, and I just keep giving thanks to God for not allowing big catastrophes to happen to Indiana. But I've really been feeling it on my heart that we need to pray for these people who have no hope. We all need to take a step and pray that the people would all have a sense of hope, and that God would touch their hearts. Also, a lot of people may feel angry at God for allowing this type of thing to happen to "perfectly innocent" people. But what we need to understand is that God allowed this to happen for a reason, he allowed it for His good, as well as his people's. So we all need to pray that these people would have hope in God.

Recently I've learned that it's important to reach out to other people.  Like I've said, there are so many people out there that just need some gentle or encouraging words, or someone to show them some that they are loved. Here's a music video: http://new.music.yahoo.com/videos/JustinBieber/Pray--221534281
Every time I watch this, it brings tears to my eyes! God has just developed such a passion in my heart for other people, and I feel such the strongest need to take action on that in every way that I can. The other day, I went up to somebody who looked like they had been having a bad day, and I just said, "smile! Jesus loves you!" That brought a smile to this ladies face, and you could tell that it totally made her day. I'm trying to be contious of other people's behaviors so I can be able to tell if they need some love. I'm trying to do whatever Jesus would do. The Bible says that we need to be like Jesus so other people will follow after and want to be in the light.
Last year, I was at a church camp, and I invited a guy on a skateboard to come down and listen to the sermon we were about to hear. At first, he claimed that "religion" wasn't for him. But I sort of "made" him, so he sat down and listened. It turned out that he got saved that night, and hung out with the group the rest of the week. I believe it is little things like that that we need to do to help change the world.
A lot of people look at the phrase "changing the world" as something big, as if they need to go to the other side of the world and witness to everyone there. But understand that it's important to do the little things, because they can make some of the biggest differences.
Very, very amazing and inspiring.

I hope and pray that God has laid it on your hearts to help make a change. If you find a twinge in your spirit or find that you just can't reach out, something is wrong, and you need to pray that God will help you get over that, and He will absolutely help you. I garuntee it.

My point of veiw is that if a person doesn't believe in God, he won't believe whats in the Bible, so quoting verses would be pointless. What you should do is convince them that God exists first, and then convict them of their sins, and then tell them to read the word of God on their own( this way if they truly want to change and are truly interested, then thats what they would do on their own). And this is how i would do it.

First, ask them who created this universe, or what do you think made this magnificient planet we live on. Ask him something like, that famous painter or that huge skyscaper, do you believe a painter painted that painting, or do you believe that building has a builder. So dont you think this earth has a creator, and not some bing bang theory, where a explosion out of nothing could create something as intricate and delicate and magnificient as the Earth we live on. and such great planning by God is the only reason we can survive on this Earth. This will get them thinking so u move on to convicting them.

Ask them do you thinkg your a good person?
Most people will say yes.
Then take them through the commandments, asks them have they ever lied, everyone has, so they have admitted themself to be a liar. then go on to stealing, making them a theif. looking at a person with lust, the bible says who ever looks at a person with lust, you have commited adultry with that person in your heart, making them an aduilturer. Hating someone is murder in God's eye's, making them a muderer, so they would have admitted thay were a lying, thiefing, adultreress, murder, by their own admition.

Ask them would they go to heaven or hell because of those sins.

Then tell them what God did for them that paid the price for their sins.
What we deserve is hell, but god paid the price and if we only accept him and repent then we can go to heaven.

Then pray with them and asks if they would read their bible, and grow more into god's word and change spiritually for him.

There is so much more you could say and do but i think ive typed enough and you can figure out the rest for yourself. Good luck everybody, and God bless.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” – 1 Corinthians 2:14

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” – Jeremiah 17:7-10

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” – Proverbs 3:5-6

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” – John 1:12-13

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek."  - Romans 1:16
