Help Somebody Out
I know that a lot of you have already seen this, but every time I see it, I start tearing up. It is just so amazing how many people are out there who don't have homes or friends, or even clothes. Lately I've had it on my heart to really get out and help some people out. We need to be Jesus' hands and feet, and get out to tell others about Him. That's what He calls us to do. If you just look around you, you will find hundreds of people who could use some gentle, caring words, or even a hug. It doesn't even take much, today you could help somebody off of the ground, or congradulate someone who did really well on a test or something. Sometimes it's just the little things that make it so special to other people. Here are some inspirational quotes:
I have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love. ~Mother Teresa
How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world. ~Anne Frank
Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does. ~William James
Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. ~Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy
The purpose of life is not to be happy - but to matter, to be productive, to be useful, to have it make some difference that you have lived at all. ~Leo Rosten
Live simply that others might simply live. ~Elizabeth Ann Seton
We can do no great things, only small things with great love. ~Mother Teresa
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not. ~Dr. Seuss

In's and Out's 5
In’s and Out’s: a really short and not nearly as gratifying favorites blog! :)
In:
My hair. If you know me, you know I am obsessed with taking care of my hair, and keeping it healthy, and trying to find new ways to do things with it. I always used to wish that I had lighter hair, almost blonde, but I've come to realize that my hair color is truly beautiful, and I wouldn't want to change that part. But I am still considering extensions...though I've heard reviews about girls who just cannot wait to get their's off. I guess just because they want the feeling of their light, natural hair. I can completely understand that, but I'd still like to experience with it. Really, is there anything wrong with that? Also, I love my new shampoo so much, I just can't stop washing my hair. I know your only supposed to wash every other day, but being the clean freak I am, I always feel like I need to at least wash my body everyday. But hair should only be washed every other day. Haha, well, it's just something I need to get over.
Another hair thingy: hair bows! Most of you have never seen me wearing a hair bow of some sort, but I love hair bows. I've always worn them as a little girl. And I don't love only hair bows, but just any kind of bow. The bow neclaces and earings are really pretty, and I even own a pair of socks that have bows on them!

This blog. You all understand that I have an addiction to my blog. I don't really know how many people read it, but I do know of some that actually enjoy it! And that always makes me super happy. I will try to continue to post at least every other day (:
Outs:
My bedroom. I am actually really stressed out about it, because there is just so much work involved. So much planning and money! I would really like some prayer in that area.
Dark nail polish. For some reason I've become more attracted to the lighter, more feminine colors. Maybe it's just me wanting to get into the spring time mode! I don't really like spring, as it is the season of storms and rain and blur. I love summer though. So, yes, dark nail polish has been out of the question for me for a long while now!
Well that's it for now! TTFN :)

Birthday Wishes + Randomness
Yes, it's another one of my random blogs...so sorry about the lack of blogs lately, I'm just working on something super fun for you. So I'm going to try not to bore you with a long meaningless blog, but I'm also going to share some of my major birthday wishes. I don't really know why, but I just feel like it. It's not because I want you to buy me everything I put on here, hehe. I just thought I'd let you know some of my interests this year.
The first thing is the BH Cosmetics neutral pallette. I know, I have a ton of makeup already. But I've had some people recommend this one to me and I really want to try it. It's $24.99 and hopefully I can try to save up for it.
Next is and iPod Touche, and I probably don't have to post a picture of it because you all know what it looks like. But I don't really care about which generation it is, just as long as it holds at least 1300 songs. Anyway I'm kinda excited about that because my current iPod is broken because my friend stepped on it, lol. Okay your probably gonna think that I'm a total nerd for saying this, but I really want a scrable dictionary. You know? One of those nerdy, legit, electric dictionaries, because I feel like I always have to look something up, and people always tell me to look things up, but I have extremely poor vocabulary and I never know what anything means, and I always think I know what words are or aren't in the dictionary, but I always like get into arguments with my friends about that, so if I have my own little dictionary in my purse, I can like soo prove it to them! Aha, yeah, so next thing is a big fat gift card to Victoria's Secret. Now before you start getting the wrong idea about this, I need to clarify something. I understand that the undies and bra things there are like, totally worthless, because the other day I went there to get something, and one pair of underwear was like, $17.99. Now, I don't know about you, but I really don't understand why people would spend that kind of money on something so stupid. Yes, the underwear was like super cute, and as far as I can tell, the only reason I can see for somebody buying something for that much money, it would be because someone's gonna see them in this stuff. Lol I know that sounds super stupid, but if you think about it, it's true. Lol I'm like cracking up right now. Anyways, there is also a $300 dollar bra there! Ha, now that's pretty funny. But, that is NOT why I would want to go there. And it's also not because of their clothes, though I do like some of the yoga pants and sweat outfits. Other than that, THEIR LIP GLOSS IS AMAZING. If you know me, you understand my excessive obsession with lip gloss, and personally, I think that VS has the most amazing. For some odd reason, my hair isn't like all attracted to the gloss, so it won't get stuck in my hair, and they taste sooo good. Sometimes I just put on lip gloss so that I can taste it. Lol you probably think i'm like so weird right now. But I'm in a super crazy mood. Oh, yeah, and VS has amazing perfume. Honestly, there is one perfume there that does smell like urine. Yeah, just thought I'd mention that. I really, really want a gift card and like max it all on lip gloss and pajama's :)
Next, you've all heard me talk about it, is HAIR EXTENTIONS! I'm so excited about getting them, because I really want my hair to be longer so I can do more with it. I always love trying out new braids and products, and sometimes I can't do some of the stuff cuz I need a longer length. I also kind of want highlights, but I figure that God gave me this hair color that people call "beautiful," and I might as well keep it. So I think that's what I'm gonna do. Okay next thing is the Joico shampoo and conditioner. Now I know your probably thinking I'm like so crazy for switching up my shampoos all the time, but some of you know that hair can become immune to the particular shampoo that you are using, and if you use the same one for like ever, then that's what will happen.
Last thing I would love to have is, well, it's not really a "thing." But if you know me, I am addicted to CHOCOLATE! I also love kit kat bars, and just anything chocolate. I think it'd be so awesome if somebody like just randomly arrived at my house with a carload of chocolates. I know, I would get super fat, but to me, that's worth it. I know that sounds terrible, but it's true! Haha!
Anyways, I thought I'd talk to you about the car that I want. I know I can't drive yet, but I like, want to go on Wheel of Fortune or something and win it. It's a shiny red Corvette :) Isn't it purdy? I understand that their like so much money, and a lot of people don't even like them. But that doesn't change how I feel about them. It's always been my dream car.
So as you know, I got a new guitar for Christmas, and I still don't really know how to play it. But that's because I can't tune it. I do have a tuner, and I don't know how to use it. If you know how to, or know somebody who does for like, cheep or free, then, I'd really appreciate it, because I already have lessons for it! :)
Also, this is super random, but I'm diagnosing myself with insomnia. I can never sleep anymore, lol

February 2011 Favorites
So when I had my previous blog, I would post blogs called Favorites blog. Mainly, I just talk about my have things, products, bands, and whatever else. I know it's a bit soon to be doing this, because it's only the 22nd, but I'm pretty excited to share with you all of my favorite things this month. And this month I actually have a lot of things!
The first one are pretty standered - Shampoo and Conditioner.
The first one are pretty standered - Shampoo and Conditioner.
These products are soo amazing! I have dark brown hair, and I feel like the shampoo and conditioner really compliment my true hair color. Now I've never dyed my hair before, except underneath my top hair color, for some reason my hair is naturally lighter, but I colored those hairs because I wanted to see if it would go lighter, and it did a little bit. But I also love really good smells and these smell absolutely amazing! Like, they don't have the prevailing scent that most other shampoos have, and I feel completely satisfied and euphoric when my hair looks and smells good. But these are really expensive, like at Ulta and Beauty supply stores they're like $9.99, but I feel like if my hair turns out great, it's worth the price.
The next products are mascaras
This first one is called Falsies by Maybelline New York. OMGHHKP I feel like this mascara makes my eyelashes look twice as big. And for the price of this mascara, that is pretty amazing. I got it at CVS for $6.95! I was really happy with the results
This next one I have been using since I was 12. I don't understand why nobody else uses this mascara! It is extreamly amazing and only like five dollars in most stores. Note that the one above this one is made to make your eyelashes look thicker, and this one is to make your lashes look longer. So sometimes if I want both results, I'll actually use both of them at the same time. I don't really know if you are supposed to do that, because I've never heard of anybody doing that, but it really works for me.
Don't worry, I'm not going to go on and on about beauty products, lol, but I like to get these over with first. So the next thing is nail polish:
This color is soo fantastic. I love it so much, and I've been wearing it almost everyday. I think it's quite appropiate for the month of February, and I really like the neutral color. But recently I took all of the nail polish off of my nails because if you have nail polish on all the time, it will make your nails turn yellow, with is really gross. So I usually try to give my nails a break every now and then. but this color is Sweetheart by OPI.
Okay now for another beauty product. Lip gloss!!!
If you know me, then you know that I am always wearing lip gloss, and I always carry it around. I love Bath and body works and Victoria's Secret lip glosses. I feel like they actually stay on my lips for a significant amount of time, while making them look prettyish yummy! (:
Last beauty one is perfume.
Guys, I've been wearing this perfume almost everyday. I am insane about this perfume! It is "PINK" by Victoria's Secret, and whenver I wear it, people always ask me what I'm wearing. I've had random people come up to me in the mall and go up to me and tell me that I smell amazing. I don't know, maybe the perfume sticks to my skin in a unique way...but I love it! It's kind of pricey, but I did get this one for Christmas last year.
Next is music. Now I don't really want to be critized by my music taste this month, but I'll go ahead and tell you the artists and songs. I love love love love LOVE Taylor Swift's song "Enchanted." I cannot stop listening to it. The first time I heard it, it was played on my iPod like 300 times. Here's the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edkiwDCrm2Q
Omg I love Owl City! Everyone makes fun of me for it, but I've really been taking to their newest album. I don't really have a favorite song, but I do like their album.
I love Carrie Underwood's song Wasted. I've been listening to it all month. I can't really relate to it right now, but I like the beat and lyrics to it.
Now for movies and TV shows. I don't watch a lot of TV, but I really like Genuine Ken, Little House On the Prarie, and Hannah Montana. I have always like these shows, except for Genuine Ken. But that's because it's brand new. It's basically like the Bachelor, but I think it's more teen appropiate.
So lately I've been trying to find new things to do with my hair. I've kind of decided on one thing, and that's getting hair extentions. Honestly, my hair isn't going to be as long as I want it until I'm like 16 or 17. And I really don't want to wait that long! So I really think I'm gonna get the extentions. Also, I've been washing my hair only every other day because you don't want to remove all of the healthy oils from your hair. I feel like my hair has been so much healthier and softer.
I've also had my dirt bike out all month. I know it seems a bit early for it, but I don't think I've ever had this much fun on my dirt bike. I don't exactly know why, but I am really enjoying just mozing around on a beautiful day.
Well if I think of anything else that I want to include in this blog, I'll add to it later, but for now I've gotta go. TTYL!

Throughout the Years - Third and Fourth Grades
So as you can see from the title, today I'm deciding to do a Throughout the Years blog. I love doing these because they bring back the best memories. If your not familiar with them, they're basically when you just tell about your life and what happened in that year, weather it's a story, something you remember, something somebody told you about, or just a little memory that you want to be able to share. You can view my other ones, starting from birth, in my past blog posts.
So something that I forgot to mention was when I was in first grade, my whole family decided to take a trip to Florida. Now this was probably the worst trip of my entire life! Number one: I had to ride on an airplane. Now your probably thinking what's the big deal about that? Well it was a huge deal! You would think, me being a small immature child with no idea what the heck Aeronautics were. Well I got on that airplane, and I was super scared at first. I mean, OPEN YOUR EYES! Your in mid-air, no ropes or chains holding you up, inside of this giant machine that is freakin floating! I still don't understand how that works, and I don't really want to understand that. But anyways I had heard about terrorists getting on airplanes and killing people. And for some reason I was super scared. But then after a while, I realized that people went on airplanes everyday, and something bad hardly ever happened. Now I still don't understand how exactly I came to that conclusion, because now I wouldn't be able to calm myself that easily when I'm scared, which I can't believe I'm actually admitting that. But that was my first, (and my only) experience on an airplane. So yes, we were going to Florida. Now we were renting a beach house down there and when we arrived, we walked inside to a giant indoor pool. Man, did I think that was awesome! In fact, I thought it was so awesome, that I had to give it a try, right away. So I jumped in, and guess what happened!? I started to drown! But that's when my grandfather jumped into the water and rescued me. This was a major turning point in my life. This little event has affected the rest of my life. My parents have told me that because I fell in that water, and was so terrified, that is the reason for my anxiety problems that followed that, and even today. Whenever I would loose my balloon in the sky, I would scream for bloody murder. Same went with motorcycles and fireworks. Now of course I have grown out of those three things, but even now there are some things that I simply haven't gotten over. Take thunderstorms, for instance. You do not want to be around while there is a storm. I can't believe I'm confessing that I still break down into tears when there is a tornado. I don't know why, but I just have always had this fear deep down inside. I don't think I'm necessarily scared of dying, but more of the grief of loosing a family member. I really can't even begin to fathom my life without my family. So I think that is what my fear of storms stems from. Now I'll go ahead and list some of my other fears, some quite natural ones, which include rollercoasters, airplanes (still!) and the dark. I absolutely cannot stand the dark! I have three nightlights in my bedroom, and half the time I sleep with a light on. I don't know what it is, I just can't stand being in the dark by myself. I wasn't even able to have my own bedroom till I was thirteen! I just don't like being by myself. I understand that this doesn't relate to the title of this blog, but it does relate to what I decided to talk about in the first place. So your gonna have to accept that, lol.
So on this Florida trip, I ended up getting the stomach flu. Yes, I do believe we all understand the brutality of the stomach flu and what comes with it. And I remember, for the whole time we were there, I didn't touch that ocean water. I believe it was from my little scare from the pool. Don't get me wrong, I'm not afraid of water anymore, but I was for the first several years of my life.
Now lets go to third and fourth grades. I honestly don't remember much at all about these years. Their just considered "there" years, if you know what I mean. They don't mean anything, except I was 2 years older than I was in second grade. All I remember is the little things, like joining a soccer team and getting my first award. And joining a homeschool group and meeting new friends. Then teaching myself to ride a bike without training wheels. Doing my first makeover with my mom's makeup. Getting my own camera and going around taking stupid pictures. Being in a play at my church (I was Mary!), getting my first poem published in a public magazine, and learning to do backflips on the trampoline, and going to my first sleepovers. It's just the little things like that that I remember the most. I'll have some pictures of me up when I was around this age soon. But I don't have them right now :/ So I really need to go. And by the way, I've been writing this blog for days and days, but the words just haven't been coming. I think it's just because my brain is so clogged with school and drama. I'm sorry about that. Let me know if there is something specific that you want me to write a blog on. TTYL
Farewell pureNRG (a pureNRG tribute)
I will never, ever forget the moments I had at my very first concert, getting my very first autograph, or my very first hug from the boy of my dreams...all from my favorite band - pureNRG.
It all started with their first album: pureNRG
It all started with their first album: pureNRG
I found out about them in my weekly magazines that I got. I was eleven years old. I was immediately hooked to their songs "Pray" "Summertime" "Someday," and "Footloose." I was amazed at the dances and flips that they did on tour, and at such a young age! They started their group when Carolyne, (girl on right) was only 8 years old, the other Caroline, age 10, and Jordan (the guy) at 12. They really inspired me to start my own band. I just got to thinking, "hey, if they can start their own group, so can I." Some of their songs were featured on Radio Disney. The more and more that this group got to do, the more confidence I had in starting my own band. So I immediately got to work on learning the dance moves, and perfecting my round-off backhandsprings. Here's a video of one of their first concerts.
I will never forget my first concert. I was so excited when I left that I was shaking, then I wasn't able to sleep that night. I was twelve years old. I will never forget the feeling when I, yes I got to get a sneak peek of their sound check. I waited for the concert to start for three hours (I wanted to get front row seats.) Since I knew all the songs and dances, I just sang and danced right along with them. I felt so cool because only me and them knew the dances and lyrics. Then when I went to go and get signatures and pictures, I wanted my favorite girl, (the girl on the right in the picture), to sign my CD first. So she did, but she didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was there, because she was busy talking to somebody else. Then she smeared her own signature! Of course, I was to happy to even be remotely worried about it. So I got signatures from the others, plus a hug from Jordan. I really wanted a picture, but when they said it was five dollars for a single picture, my dad said no. Again, I was too happy to worry about that.
Then their next album came out: Here We Go Again.
These songs really got to me. The dances and lyrics were even better. Here are the vidoes of the dances that I learned from: Footloose, Here We Go Again, BFF, Like, Someday, and Dance Break. Yes, I do have many memories with these songs and dances. I practiced them everyday, and even now occasionally I'll turn on the music and dance to them, just to bring back the memories. I remember I listened to those songs everyday, 24/7. And I never got tired of them!
Then their next album: Christmas
I never did get to go see them at Winter Jam, because they never came to Indiana :'(, but I did end up learning the dances to their Christmas songs: Away In a Manger and Joy to the World.
Then, probably my Favorite album: The Real Thing, which came out in 2010.
And I learned these songs: Radio, All About You, and Before the Sun Goes Down.
Then I heard the tragic news that the band is coming to an end in 2011. I was like OMGHHKP! I was bawling my eyeballs out! But they decided to come out with one last album in January of 2011: pureNRG Graduation.
At the beginning of this year they decided to go to Mexico on a mission trip, to hang out the with little homeless kids there. So they published two songs about their experience: Hands and Feet and Dive. I would definately have to say that Hands and Feet is my favorite song that they published. I totally got chills the first time that I heard it, and it just made me want to go out into the world and tell about Jesus. It's such a touching song, and I think everybody should hear it.
Here are their music videos that they published:
Footloose: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01myDOAA4WU
Here We Go Again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DixAmMksILE
Me and my friends tried to make our own music videos to these, but without a nice camera it's pretty much impossible.
I will never, ever forget my experiences with pureNRG. I went to a total of four of their concerts. It is so sad that they are ending this year. They have made such a big impact on my life! I start to get all teary-eyed everytime I think about their break-up.
This was my last concert in 2010. They are going to have a farewell concert in March, and I'm hoping to go. But the problem is, it's all the way in NASHVILLE TENESSE! OMG. And also there's this package that you can buy which includes: private pizza party with pureNRG, $80 worth of merch idems, gold circle seating at the last concert, access to private sound check, and a proffesional photo with pureNRG. All for just $99.99. I really, really, REALLY want it, but where am I gonna get that money? I won't be getting that money, and I won't get to have one on one time with them. I know this sounds a bit synical but it's true. Oh well, I did have my moments with them when I did talk to them. They were so excited that I knew their dances and songs so well! I was pretty happy to impress them like that.

I love you pureNRG, and I will miss ya'll dearly.
